Testimonials

“Dear Morgan, thank you for an amazing time of challenge, discovery, giggles, headaches and renewal! Today I woke up and continued the morning ritual and had a bit of an epiphany whilst oil pulling in the shower. All the tasks that we had to do every morning were no longer a ‘chore’ and ‘to do list’ but simply a ritual of self care and self love. So thank you again Goddess Morgan for sharing your knowledge energy and your inspiration. My word was ‘renewal’ and I am there!” Kaja Troa

“Thank you so much Morgan, it makes a world of difference to go through this process with your support and info.” Carolina Pugliese

“I just wanted to say thank you Morgan for an amazing experience full of self discovery. You were a wonderful and supportive mentor. I floated home last night!” Nicola Swankie

Why We Detox

Detox is more than just changing what we eat for a few days to give our gut a break, it’s also about giving ourselves the time to reflect on and observe what, how and why we consume what we do and deepen our relationship to that process.

Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India, recognizes that consumption is something we do from all of our senses, not just our mouth. Each day we consume through our five senses everything from sights and smells to thoughts and conversations, and our body-mind-spirit complex must digest all of these things.

Ayurveda observes a very simple cause and effect relationship; whatever we don’t digest becomes toxic.

All detoxes share a common basic principle; take pressure off digestion.

Taking pressure off of our gastrointestinal (GI) tract is a huge part of this because our ability (or inability) to process food effects the health of every other system in our body.

But it’s also important to take pressure off other forms of digestion…like processing our thoughts, experiences and emotions. This is where meditation and yoga practices can take our process of purification to the next level.

The body has a natural, ongoing process of neutralizing or eliminating toxins. We are designed to be healthy not sick.

Toxins include anything that can potentially harm the body, such as wastes that are part of normal cell activity as well as chemicals that we’re exposed to via environment, food and water.

Toxicity in the body can also come from lifestyle habits like poor sleep, negative self talk or too much stress.

When we detox we reduce the in-put of substances or actions that produce toxins and give the body time to process the toxins that have accumulated.

The intention of this detox is to rest digestive processes and improve our relationship to what and how we consume. We’ll learn Yogic and Ayurvedic techniques to use in every day life to keep us feeling vibrant, clear and healthy.

Remember, you’re evolving and change takes time, so we must be easy on ourselves in the process!
