In a one-on-one yoga session with Morgan you will focus on your individual yoga needs and goals.  You will learn how to fine tune your practice so that you gain the most benefits from it IMG_2812_2and make it most appropriate for you.  Morgan will develop a simple practice designed just for you and send you home with an easy to follow one paged worksheet of poses and descriptions. This is an excellent way to jump start your yoga practice, deepen an already existing practice or address specific physical issues.

Morgan strives to make every massage the most therapeutic and appropriate for each individual that graces her table. With over 10 years of experience as a remedial massage therapist, trainingIMG_2889 in yoga, dance, energy work and anatomy and physiology, she has many resources to draw on in order to give you exactly what you need.  Morgan specializes in deep tissue work with a slow, breath focused approach allowing the body time to integrate and shift.

While massage is a powerful healing tool, for longterm results we often need to work with the source of the problem.  Whether the source of a chronic pain comes from injury, stress, postural issues, repetitive use, poor breathing or any combination of those, Yoga is an excellent system IMG_2918with which to address it.

In a combined massage-yoga session the first half of your session will include learning simple yoga postures and breathing techniques that you can integrate into your daily life. Morgan will send you home with a hand out designed especially for you including pictures and explanations of this simple yoga practice. For the second half of your session you get to relax on the massage table and let Morgan’s hands work their magic.  (Minimum 1.5hr, recommended 2hr session)
